Dove Energy announced that exploration well BAR-1 has been drilled to a depth of 2548 m below the rotary table and wire-line logs have been run in the 8½ inch open hole.

Partners made a decision to continue drilling of the 8½ inch hole section, and this is currently underway.

The objective of BAR-1 will be to test whether or not commercial gas flows can be achieved from reservoirs within the Mansour Anticline, using modern drilling and completion technology.

The El Fahs Exploration Permit is located to the west of Tunis and has an area of 3116 km2. The operation of the permit is handled by Larsen Oil & Gas FZCO. Dove Energy’s equity in this permit is 22.5%.
